Trends will affect this job because everyday we are creating new technology. Soon there will be no need to sucuba dive down to study fish they will invent a camera that has a 1 year battery so they will just send a camera down to study the fish instead of humans. It would cost less to do because you wouldn't have to pay the camera. On the plus side could send the cameras down deeper so you can find out what is at the bottom of the sea craters. There probly won't be that many people intersted in being a marine biologist because every one thinks its kinda boring but I don't. This profession dose not really harm the environment it helps it. The trend with globalization is that there will be another country that comes up with a new technology that will eliminate the need for human interactin with fish and plant life. It will probly make it more careful than human hands on specimen from fish and other organisms in the sea and all other forms of water. Adults are having more than one kid in there family wich means that there will be atleast 1 child per family interested in biology and other sicences.
